Commissioning a Portrait

Anthony works from reference photographs so commissioning a portrait could not be easier. Anthony normally takes the reference photographs so that he can get to know the personality of the subject and also the correct colouring.

The photographic session normally takes two hours to complete during which time numerous photographs are taken from which the finished portrait is generated, often using two or three of the photographs. If it is not possible for the subject to be photographed Anthony can use your reference photographs provided they are of good quality and you own the copy right.

Anthony produces a number of different composition suggestions for you to choose, once this is done Anthony starts work in his studio from when it takes two months to complete. During this time you will be sent up date photographs so that you can see the progress of the portrait.

When the portrait is complete, and you've agreed, the portrait is then framed and posted to you.
