Speculation Gallery is a new venture located in the South Hams village of Brixton to promote art by Devon based artists and the work of artist/owner Anthony O’Keefe.  Anthony has used his knowledge of local artists and their art to gather together some of the best artists Devon has to offer. All of the art exhibited are original pieces and ranges from abstract to photorealistic and everything between.

The premises are known locally as “Mary Green Hall” located in the centre of Brixton reputably a romantic meeting place for Laurence of Arabia and his then girl friend who lived in Brixton. Anthony took over the building on the 1st March 2018 to turn the next page of its history; a centre for art in the South Hams.

Anthony also houses his studio in the gallery where he can be seen working on his current projects. Anthony is happy to be interrupted to discuss art and his methods, as he likes nothing better than to spread the appreciation of how paintings are produced to the wider public.
